The unglazed semi porous qualities of this piece will have a light-moderate effect on flavor and aroma by softening astringency. Over time, the clay’s absorption of tea oils will continue to enhance the flavor of the tea.
Suitable for all teas, but recommended for sheng and shou pu-erh, red and dark tea ,and oxidized oolongs.
