Refired to 2200 F. in oxidation with layered ochre glaze & kaolin slip
Hand sanded after firing for a smooth stone-like finish

The unglazed interior surface features minor porosity and will help soften the qualities of astringent and fermented/aged teas. Suitable for all types of tea, but recommended for puerh, dark tea, aged white, and heavily oxidized/roasted oolongs.
